Pond House Rentals
Keney Park Pond House use is based on your individual needs. Rental times must include the hours needed to decorate for your event through the start and end time of your event. All functions must be over by 12:00 AM (midnight).
Rental Pricing Information
With the exception of a Repast, all events are $500.00. The fee for a Repast is $325 and this fee must be paid in total, along with a complete application to secure the date.
For events at $500, a signed application with a $125 deposit must be submitted to the Pond House Coordinator, or designee in order to secure the requested date for use of the facility. The balance is due no later than 10 days before your event.
All payments including deposits, must be made in the form of a MONEY ORDER ONLY, and payable to Friends of Keney Park. No cash, debit/credit card or personal checks will be accepted.
To rent the facility, please email your request to email@example.com or call (860) 206-4500 and leave a message. You may also call our coordinator directly at (860) 578-0390 and leave your name, a phone number where you can be reached and the date you are requesting for your event. Our coordinator will contact you to advise if the facility is available for you to rent. Your call will be returned within 24 – 72hrs.

Rental Agreement Information
The Keney Pond House is available for rent, provided such activities do not disrupt City sponsored programs. Such rentals are at the discretion of the Friends of Keney Park who have the authority to approve/disapprove applicants for facility use
Facility users must leave the facility in a clean orderly condition. They are also responsible for monitoring the parking areas.
The sale, consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages is not permitted, unless authorized by a City Council Resolution. Use of the recreation facilities shall not be allowed for usage for the purpose of making profit, unless authorized by a City Council Resolution. The applicant is responsible for requesting such resolution from the Court of Common Council.
